The most Important thing while Preparing for any Competitive Exam is that you must follow your Schedule on daily basis.Now coming to point as i am too preparing for Gate (2018) EC. I have not joined any coaching Institute yet and nor in mood to join. So here i am going to share some of the points which i usually follows: Refer to Only standard Books: Gate exam basically focus on your Concepts and basics. They only test that How much you are aware about the Concepts and Basics. So for it Standard Books play a significant role. Follow Standard books for Each subject. And try to Understand the Concepts instead of learning them. Another Advantage of using Standard Book is that you can find some good Numericals too. Mark the Topics: As if you have a less time for Preparation than simply try to read only those topics which are in Gate Syllabus . Don’
