What programming languages does an ECE student have to learn?

Electronics & Communication branch can be considered as a combo of CS & ECEboth. Because here one can learn Computer Programming as well as Electronics software both. Hence he will have more opportunities because of it.
Here I have described some software’s which are related with ECE field:
  1. LAB VIEW- Lab view is the software course which is basically for those who don’t want to learn the coding and hesitates to use it. In labview we can perform all the main tasks like Image processing, Video processing, Embedded or sensor interfacing etc. only by using some predefined structures in it. and those structures are very easy to learn. But the trade off here is that you have to compromise with its performance. Optimized performance not Ideal!
  2. Matlab- Matlab is the course which is basically choose by those students who want to make their career in research field. Its a very vast software and having a good knowledge on its each tool is really appreciable. But very few can do it. Its known as the mother of Image processing. In mathematical calculations or analysis matlab is used quite frequently.
  3. AVR/Microcontroller/Embedded- This is also one of the hot course in ECE. Most of the students complete their final year project Based on embedded system. Its good for hardware structures where you learn how to connect sensors and how to make interfacing with peripherals devices etc.
  4. pspice- This is used for the circuit simulation. if You have studied about analog circuits than you can understand the usefulness of it. As the demand of VLSI industry is increasing its very wise decision to learn this Course.
  5. IOT- You will surely have heard the name of Internet of things! yes this is purely related with that. although its basically more or less connect with embedded course but its different somewhere. In this course you need to learn Python and Raspberry pie too.
  6. CST- if you are interested in Antenna designing and curious to find out its beam width, Radiation pattern and other Characteristics than learn this course. It solely deals with Only antenna design.
  7. VHDL- it is basically related with chip designing, if you want to be expert in chip designing and want to make your career too in this field than i will suggest you to learn shall scripting, Linux, pearl too.
So these are some of the course which are purely related with ECE branch. Except it their are few mores but these are the major Ones. Ok now coming to my point as i said earlier that ECE is the combination of ECE & CS both. i don’t think that i need to explain course related to CS branch here. we all know Plenty of it already.
Some demanding languages in IT industries are-
C, C++, Java, Mysql, Python, Big Data, Hadoop, Django, HTML, Android etc.
These are some courses related to CSE Branch & have demand in market.
Thanks for your Reading.

What are the best career options after a BTech in ECE?

There are Plenty of Career Options in ECE after B.Tech. Electronics Graduates can go for any one sector. There are many sectors which provides them opportunity to enhance their skills. Here I have listed some of the career Options which can be choose by an ECE Graduate. Job Option:  This option is mostly Preferred by graduates. Their are lot of job options available for ECE Students. I have divided here job options into different sectors so that ECE Students can analyse that how many sectors they have to work. Networking Sector:  Electronics Engineers can go in Networking sectors Job. Some big companies like Cisco and other provides this Opportunity. They can get some handsome amount of wages too. IT Sector:  Electronics students can go for this sector too. This sectors demands a good knowledge in Programming Languages. After gaining some experience good amount of money can also be earned. Core Electronics Sector:  This is definitely on the first priority ...

My Quora answer on I’m a 3rd year ECE student interested in programming and networking. Should I go in for a network admin or embedded software?

Its quite common Dilemma among the ECE Undergraduates. Infact i know some of my seniors who did their M.Tech in different specialization & doing work in some other field. So, first of all its up to you That in which field you want to make your career. I will suggest you if you have ardent interest in any of the field then choose that field. So you can enjoy your work and make significantly growth in your career. Now here i am providing an comparison between these two on different parameters- Salary-  From salary point of view embedded field (Software Engineer, Developer, Coder ) dominates somewhere over Network administration field (DevOps, Ops, SRE etc). But the difference is not too much. But it is not always certain. Salary also depend upon timing, Location, Personal Skills and much more. you can check these two links to check the salary of these two fields- Salary: Network Administrator Salary: Embedded Software Engineer 2.  Pressure of work: Network a...

What are the simple businesses for startups this year?

There are so many ideas on which work can be carried out & now a days most of the graduates are working on these ideas. But the important thing here is that  in which field your ardent interest falls . You can start working in any field, You could also have a fantastic idea but if your interest does’t fall in that then you will sabotage it quite easily. Never think that your idea is quite common and any one can steal it . No not at all. Let us suppose For a moment why anyone have not produced yet another google/facebook/apple etc despite we have one of the best programmers all across the world. Because of their unique selling property. Its the quality of your product which anyone can not produce. And you can only bring that quality in your product if you do your work with full interest. So Idea could be anything but make sure that you have lot of interest in that. So when you will work on that idea then it will create the history.  Here i will suggest some of t...
