It depends. It depends on for which post you have applied or for which post you have been elected. Not only in Intel actually in any company when you go for interview either for the Intern or job they actually ask the questions related to the specific domain.
I will share one experience of mine, I was interviewed by Invecas company last month for the Analog design engineer post. Invecas is the core electronics company which provides Chip IP solutions to the Global foundries. The interview run around 1 hour. In the interview they asked the questions mostly from Microelectronics. The question were like-
- Solving the circuit and find out the values of Transistors current.
- Different amplifier Configuration
- Biasing related questions
- Steady state related questions
- Current mirror concept based questions, Darlington Pair etc.
Intel is an MNC which have so many open posts for Interns like
- Pre-Si emulation FPGA solution graduate Interns
- Analog product development engineer intern
- IP Logic design -SoC design Integration
and many more.
So i guess if you have applied for the analog section then the question will be similar as i have mentioned above. For the other domain also questions will be directly from the particular domain itself. So you should have a sound knowledge in subjects like Microelectronics, Networks, IC, Bode plot in control system , Digital logic design. You can read my following answer for Internship related doubts.
Hope it helps. Feel free to ask anything.
