How IOT is related to electronics & Communication Engineering?

Lets break it into the parts for a better understanding of it. IoT is an abbreviation of Internet of things. Its an emerging technology , still in its development phase. But it can make our life more comfortable.
Basically IoT is a concept to connect each & every device with Internet. Lets understand some of the applications of it so that we can have a good idea about it:
In 2017 Consumer electronic show , whirlpool gives an idea to connect the food platforms with Internet. Now if you are driving and about to reach your home. So you can send a message from your mobile phone on the platform . And it will heat your food before you arrive at your home. Either you can turn off your gas too from anywhere, if you forget to do it.
Now just analyze how much easy it makes our life.
Another example is that you can turn on your air conditioner from anywhere. so before you reach at your home, it will already cool your home.
Now comes to the your question that how electronics involve in it.
electrodragon WiFi IoT relay is a IOT module & it includes so many electronics components. Not only this there are so many sensors, relays, processors used in IoT based projects. So you must have a good idea regarding all the electronics components. Along with it you need to programme these device to perform any particular task. Python is the most common language used for it. There are many platform available where you can do the IOT programming. IBM Bluemix is one of them.
